Today I am grateful for:

Another wonderful summer day.

My brother in law died today (not a gratitude). What I am grateful for, is that is sounds like my sister and he already did a lot of the planning required, so she's not all of a sudden trying to cope with the details. I am grateful that their daughter is there to support my sister. That their grandchild was there to spend time with him. I'm grateful that people were honest with my Mom about his health, so that she wasn't shocked at his passing. He's been quite ill for over a year, and I imagine that death was a release for him.

I had good phone calls with two of my sisters.

I sold three more things through buy and sell. One person came to pick up, and I delivered for the other person because we were going into town for groceries. Again, these were things that have sat there since we moved here 14 years ago, so it's better that they become useful again to someone. It's nice to hear people tell me what they plan to use it for, it's better than it sitting unused. I sold an old galvanized trough that will now be used for a tomato planter, an aquarium that will be an aquarium again, and a sturdy table that will have another aquarium on it soon.

My sweetie and I went to our friend's grandparent's house again, and picked up an enormous pile of brush out of the back yard. The house is selling, but clearing the brush was a condition of sale. Since we were going for groceries, we took the truck and trailer and did it for them.

Then we got groceries, for which I am always grateful. Again, it felt a little less stressful because I'm not trying to buy oddly specific huge amounts of vegetables for my husband's lunch.

I had a nice walk in the horse pasture in the late evening when it had cooled off, and it was lovely.
