Today I am grateful for:

Finally got the medical file for Hollywood (elder mare at home) transferred to another vet. I am hoping to get some help for her teeth.

My sweetie spent the day at this old house that is slated to be torn down, salvaging fir flooring that is similar to what is in our house. We will use it in the addition.

I felt a little better about my Mom. Just trying to process the whole thing, and to accept that there isn't anything to be done.

I talked to Train Wreck sister for a while, and she says Mom is at a point where if she had her chair and music, and a few other things, she probably would think she was at home. I really hope that works.

I spent some time in the garden picking green tomatoes that didn't get frozen in the frost the other night, so they can hopefully ripen indoors. I also pulled a pail of carrots, and washed those.

I had a good lesson with River. R surprised me by saying we should try to record our lead line pattern today (I thought we were doing that next week) for the online show. I hadn't really done the pattern all the way through yet; I've still been breaking it down and working on elements of it, so that River doesn't get sick of it. It took us several tries, but we got one recording that it pretty good. R says we still have time to try again next week, and I might try to polish it up a bit more. I rode River for a while after the lesson, and he gave really well and stayed flexed at the poll in our transitions.

We had a thunder storm, with lots of lightening. It wasn't quite over our place, but kind of all around us. We got a bit of rain.

We watched "Pixie", which was fun.
