Today I am grateful for:

Sunny weather. Warm for this time of year.

I dug around in the sea can for a while, to assess the fabric situation. A person on buy and sell in our area is looking for fabric to make charity quilts, and I would like to donate to her. I sorted through a few containers, and came up with one plastic tub full of fabric I can part with.

I also brought in a few things to put upstairs in the craft room.

You know, it is easily three or four times more difficult to get rid of something thoughtfully than it is to buy it in the first place. Sure, if I can just throw it out it's not so hard, but to rehome things is hard work. It isn't even too bad to load it up and take it to the thrift store, but it is mental effort to make the decision.

It must really be something to disperse the belongings of a wealthy person when they die. I suppose their stuff is worth enough that people WANT to buy it, and you just organize an auction. Clothes and such might be tougher.

That's more or less what farmers do, is have a big auction sale. It's so easy to hang onto things when you have a whole bunch of sheds.

I went to see River, and there were some people around, so that was nice. R and another boarder worked horses while I warmed up.

I rode, and did groundwork/liberty, and he did well.

I came home and watched some "Breaking Bad", I'm on season three now.
