Today I am grateful for:

Remembrance Day: I am sad for the loss of life in war. I'm not exactly "grateful for their sacrifice", just sad that there had to be a sacrifice at all.

I had a quiet day at home, kind of at loose ends. I tried to make the best of it by tackling a few of those things that just need doing, even if they are boring and tedious.

I moved the potatoes off of the floor in the garage where they were drying into bins for longer storage.

I did some laundry, put a few things in their proper place upstairs, did the cat litter, went through the pails of vegetables from the garden and tossed rotten ones, that kind of thing. My usual cleaning cycle of do something, watch an episode of Hoarders, do something else, watch some Hoarders.

I'm not even sure if anything overall looks cleaner when you walk into a room, all I know is that you just have to keep doing this kind of thing or soon you won't be able to walk in the house.

I did have a good conversation with my sister E. It was a good, positive conversation. At least for now, we can be relieved that the issue with Mom is settled.

I watched some Breaking Bad, and it continues to be very interesting.
