Today I am grateful for:

My sweetie continuing to work on the stone siding.

It was hot enough that I mainly stayed inside once I did the usual chores, and watered tomatoes and flowers. I worked on sewing up tears in River's fly sheet. The cats made it hard to get anything done, but they had fun.

Then I went to see River, and it was a little cooler. I still kept our work mainly to groundwork because of the heat. We worked on the lunge part of the pattern that we are practicing. I have to lunge him in one direction, and then change direction so it's like a figure eight. It needs to be smooth and pretty. Then I just rode him bareback with the halter for awhile, and watched R work with one of her horses at Liberty.

It was pretty cool, because she's doing stuff with him like getting him to lie down on command, and rear and so on.

It was nice just to ride with the halter and relax. I think River enjoyed it too.

Then I came home and we watched "Out of Time", which felt kind of low budget, but had a fun plot.
