Today I am grateful for:

That I decided to go to town today. It was a weird-ish day; my sweetie went to the city to visit his Uncle K again, (who is actively dying), and also to see his parents again before they leave (also visiting Uncle K). He didn't give me any idea when he was coming home, so I didn't know what to do with my day.

I chose to go to town and get groceries. I also stopped in on some yard sales and found some movies and a few household things. Nice to have the freedom to detour.

I also went to Winner's and found a few nice things on clearance, and finally got two bras with actual cups. Since I lost weight, I have been relying on sports bras because I didn't know where my boobs would settle at. They are okay, but don't give me the right look when I wear a shirt with a more open neckline, or something that means I should have some kind of form, not a flattened uniboob (that seems to be the goal of sports bras), or anything where the giant straps will show at the back of my neck or shoulders. Anyhow, I got some real bras again.

Then I got groceries, and they had a really good deal on blueberries, so I got enough to do jam. It's mainly for my husband, since he has discovered the power of making jam this year, and he eats it for breakfast most days.

He was home already when I got home, so after having a bit of a rest, we made some jam.
