gottawonderToday I am grateful for:
Getting the giant bag of hay cubes in the barn (we brought it home on the trailer a couple of days ago).
Hans is getting SLIGHTLY less awful about food. He's been in the house for a few weeks now, and at the beginning he was FRANTIC over anything that might be food. To the point of being a little scary. I had to guard anything I was trying to eat, and it was even hard to try to prepare food. You can't leave any dishes out, or anything with even a smear of food on it without him getting into it. Yes, he gets fed lots, but farm/feral kitties can be like this. He's been a little less frantic lately, and while he shows interest in what I'm eating he's not launching himself at me the whole time.
We were able to get the things my sweetie wanted for his work apartment from what we already have, with the exception of the plates and cutlery that we bought at the thrift store.
He was able to leave early enough that most of his drive back to where he's working was done during daylight.
A friend brought back some tools they borrowed. We chatted for a while.
I had a nice bath to warm up (I felt chilly all day today), and that did the trick.
I did the read/nap thing with the kitties for a while.
I watched "The Queen" which was interesting.
