More beautiful weather.
Having a back up vehicle for when my little car is unavailable (not back yet from getting winter tires). It is our old truck, but it still works just fine.
I picked up Fatty's medication, and managed to not be in a panicked rush to get to the clinic before it closes.
I had the luxury to take some time and really enjoy browsing in Winners. I like just taking the time to look at things, to admire the sparkly eyeshadow palettes, to enjoy the texture of nice fabric, to smell the fancy soap. I enjoy the brightness, the orderliness, the space to walk around. I did get some household things.
I got groceries. A bigger trip, since we're out of everything at once. It's nice that I didn't feel drained by getting groceries; sometimes I am.
I chatted with the checkout clerk at the grocery store. I remember him from another time a few months ago. He's a sweet kid whose family bought a farm a few years ago, and he's really excited about it. All you have to do is say "How's farming?" and he tells you all about what he's been learning. This time he got to drive the big grain truck.
I came home and watched more "Breaking Bad". That is a very interesting show.
The last few nights have been very lovely, with a clear sky and lots of light from the moon. I've been sitting with the goats and ponies when I go out to do night chores (they're in the same pen) and just listening to them chew. I do that a fair bit on nice nights, especially during the seasonal meteor showers, and sometimes I see the most fantastic Northern Lights. It's one of the nicest things about living in the country is having a good night sky.
