gottawonderToday I am grateful for:
Continued mild weather. It's supposed to end soon, but I'll enjoy it as long as I can.
I walked around the pasture with Roxy for a while.
I went to see River, and that was good. There was water dripping from the inside of the tent-like arena because it was above zero but still cool, and the breath from the horses collects inside. It didn't bother River, and I'm glad for that.
We had a good session, worked on our homework. Once again, he was kind of worried about doing transitions. After watching a good video about it, I think I needed to just give him more time and make sure I got him round enough first.
I talked to my sweetie today about trying to set up what we need to actually get something done in the addition when he comes home this weekend.
What he said we needed a few days ago, was to talk to a friend of ours and borrow a lifter for the dry wall for getting it up to the ceiling, and maybe getting our friend to help.
That was a few days ago, so today I asked if he'd actually contacted this friend, and he made vague noises about how he had texted and got no answer, and this friend was pretty hard to get a hold of, and mutter mutter mumble.
So, I called this friend myself, left a message to please call my husband and talk about working this upcoming weekend, and you know what? By the time I called my husband again after supper, this friend had called him and is free to work this weekend, and to bring over the lift.
Isn't that amazing?
