gottawonderA very pretty moment. I was at the riding barn, just finished putting River back, when it started snowing big, fluffy flakes. It was just a freak flurry, and the sun was still shining. It was so pretty.
A good ride on River, with my riding friend. He was a little more relaxed today, which is nice.
Spending some time in the pottery studio, and still getting some more mugs started, even though I had to leave earlier than I would have chosen because there was another meeting happening (just of the executives, so I wasn't attending). In a way, it was good practice for me to stay focused and keep track of time. Sometimes I do a little too much in one session, and I'm exhausted when I finally come up for air.
My sweetie showed up at the studio just as I was finished, so we grabbed a pita at our usual place. I once again only got a pita and skipped the chips and soda. Funny how I was worried that anyone would care if I just drank water from my water bottle. It's already becoming the new normal.
My sweetie also came home with ANOTHER trailer load of plywood and heavy boards from the work site that otherwise would have been thrown out. I'm not sure what we're doing with all of it, but even if we give it to our friends it's better than it being thrown out.
A nice walk around the horse pasture together. I'm happy to have a nice place to walk around and play with Roxy.
