gottawonderToday I am grateful for:
Continued slightly more moderate temperatures.
We found an entryway bench thingy on buy/sell that we can use in the mud room once it's ready.
We went to town for pottery, to pick up said bench, get special food for Jones, and a bit of groceries.
Pottery was nice. My sweetie actually DID come this time, we got there at a reasonable time, and while he didn't throw anything that he could keep, it takes time to get the knack again. This is the first time he's been able to throw for about 2.5 years now. It was nice to have his help, since he is way better at wedging the clay than I am, and clean up goes better with help.
It was a lot less weird for me this time. I guess I've been at the new studio four times now, and some of the strangeness of being in an entirely new building and an entirely new studio with different people than before the shut down is starting to wear off.
Found some nice common ground with another person at the pottery studio who has animals.
We came home and made supper, and watched the first episode of "The Queen's Gambit", and really enjoyed it.
