My body being strong enough to do chores on days like this. There are extra things I have to do on cold days like this, and while they are not THAT hard, there is something exhausting about trying to do these things in full heavy winter gear in the cold. I had blankets to put back on (I took some off because it was a little warmer), I brought pails of water to the garage so I could put the goats back in, and I walked the ponies for a while. Things like that.
I came in and napped for a while, and read.
I did an extra feed and check.
I worked on my denim bag. I didn't like the placement of the handles, so I changed them.
I watched the second "Bourne" movie. It's weird. I have watched these movies a few times now, and I don't know that I ever remember much about them, other than "they're chasing Jason Bourne all over Europe". They're good, but they don't stick. I guess you never really worry much that he's going to get killed.
It's funny watching these movies that were so high tech at the time, and they still weren't using cell phones much. They had them, but not everyone. Jason didn't use one much, and even all the agents were running to make calls from land lines. The whole cell phone thing really took off fast once it became a thing. I remember getting one finally, because it made sense for safety, but I didn't use it much. Then, BOOM, you pretty much had to have a smart phone or you were going to be left behind.
