gottawonderToday I am grateful for:
Beautiful weather today. Mild for January, no wind.
A more relaxed start to the day than usual.
We went to go see River, and that was nice. R was around, and working another horse when I first went in. It was nice to chat with her.
She got some giant balls to work with the horses, another item for getting horses used to all kinds of things. River seemed pretty chill about them, so that was nice. Always good to keep exposing them to new things.
He did well with his groundwork/Liberty, and we worked on our homework.
Then I rode for awhile, and he had good forward energy.
We came home, I had a nice bath then my sweetie had one of his epic hour + long baths.
We watched some more "Wheel of Time". I've always been curious about the books, but I didn't know if I wanted to commit. There are something like ten books, each about a thousand pages. My sweetie isn't even sure if it really "ended" because Robert Jordan died, and there might have been a book written after his death to kind of wrap it up, but who knows if it did a good job.
Today I learned that bats don't get sick from viruses very often. One exception is Rabies, but apparently it doesn't usually kill them.
