Feb. 20th, 2022 02:32 amToday I am grateful for:
A quiet day at home. I have no idea what is going on with the weather. It said it was above freezing, but the wind was COLD, and it is supposed to be very cold tonight and tomorrow. So it could go from above zero to maybe -20C in a day. It does happen. It is also driving me a little nuts. Especially with trying to blanket horses.
I did a bunch of little "catch up" chores (as well as all the usual chores caring for the animals), like took out the recycling and the compost, picked up pony poop and emptied the poop sled, found a paint brush to finish the priming in the addition, several loads of laundry, that kind of thing.
I watched two episodes of "The Walking Dead", a series I have been meaning to watch. Yes, I am a little behind on big social trends. I found the first two so far to be very interesting and well-written. You actually care about the main characters, and even a very tired trope of zombie apocalypse seems interesting because of the character development.
On a whim, I wondered if anyone had ever named a mountain "Abu". There is one! It is indeed called "Mount Abu"....and it has...wait for it...a peak. You could even refer to it as.. Peak Abu. This amused me to no end.
