Apr. 23rd, 2022 05:17 amToday I am grateful for:
Very nice weather. Hopefully this is spring?
My Sweetie made...mostly organizational progress on the floor in the addition. He spent most of the day organizing the boards by length. He swears that this is useful. I'll have to take his word for it.
I went to see River, and it was a nice enough day to ride outside.
First though, I got nearly ran over when a big pony R was working with in the arena at Liberty decided to make a break for it when I opened the door. He really did not care that I was blocking his exit; his friend back in the corral needed him.
R had very little trouble catching him again, but I was not happy with the incident.
Luckily, I was fine.
River and I rode outside for awhile, with R and the pony (who was behaving better under saddle). The footing is a little wet, but not bad. River was a little distracted by the neighbors walking around outside with their dogs (their yard is right by the outdoor arena), but good overall.
Then we went back into the arena to do our Liberty work.
I came home and made supper, threw some laundry in the machine, and we watched a movie that was kind of a dark comedy called "The Big White".
Then I made some more bracelets. I have enough now, but I am going to make a few more, so that I can get a more even-looking bunch.
I learned that Queen Elizabeth has an official shoe-wearer who breaks in her shoes so they don't give her blisters. That is something that never would have occurred to me to have in my life, but I can see the value in it.
