May. 30th, 2022 11:29 pmToday I am grateful for:
Very nice weather.
Getting good sleep.
Picked up some perfume for sale close by off of buy and sell. I like it.
I went to town for pottery and a few other things. I bought some more hay cubes for Hollywood, and bedding plants.
I went to pottery, and dedicated my time to wiping off any irregular edges from things ready to be bisque fired. I have quite a few things ready to go.
Nice to see others there.
I inquired about another vase that hasn't come back from firing yet, and one of the people kind of in charge of firing took me down to the kiln room to see if it was sitting there. It was not. Once again, my only other option is to talk to the same woman who "misplaced" the other vase that went missing. I am low key freaking out that from now on, I will have to be aware of every single thing I send for firing because I can't trust this person.
I got done at the studio at a much more reasonable time than usual, which is nice.
I got groceries, and bought a bit more than I planned, because there were certain things on a good price. According to my husband, they are likely clearing things out to make way for "resized" packaging. As in, when costs go up the packages get smaller to avoid it looking like the price went up. Maybe? The higher prices were very evident again.
I am grateful to be able to get groceries, and all of the many elements of funds and physical ability to do so.
I came home, put everything away, then let the animals out into their pastures while I worked in the garden some more.
I was able to till part of it.
I learned about Cotard’s Syndrome, also known as “walking corpse syndrome,” a rare mental disorder in which one has delusional beliefs ranging from believing that they are dead, do not exist, or have lost their internal organs/blood/souls. Many even believe they’re immortal and can’t die a natural death.
Some causes are schizophrenia, depression, brain injury, and also often anti-depressants.
