May. 14th, 2019 02:38 amSunshine and trees leafing out now. Green grass everywhere all of a sudden.
Being allowed to sleep.
A good day in the city with my sweetie and his parents. We went to a lovely store dedicated to bird feeders, bird feed, and then tons of fancy high end stuff only somewhat relating to birds (like lovely mugs with a bird on them, fleece jackets worth a fortune, knick knacks, and so on). I got some birthday cards with quilling on them as inspiration for the cards I make.
Going to the Alberta Museum in Edmonton, and really enjoying that. I was surprised that they had already added new exhibits to their "human history" wing, and I think they plan to keep changing the displays in those two rooms as a way to keep the museum fresh. There were even artifacts in their "Vikings" exhibit that we hadn't seen the last time we were there less than two months ago. I suppose a lot of museums have tons of stuff in storage, and it can't all be displayed at the same time, so it makes sense to find a way to rotate items.
Eating a nice meal at a restaurant that had food I could eat, though the sweet potatoes apparently were still sugary enough to cause me to have low blood sugar a few hours later. I was kind of surprised, given that the meal was mostly lentils and salad and soup.
Going for a walk together at a little park near our home that I often walk at with Roxy. It was a beautiful evening for a walk.
That the day went well, and everything was amicable.
