Very nice summery weather.
I planted some of the annuals today. I don't have much for a flower bed except for a small bed of perennials, but instead I do some containers of annuals. Things like marigolds and pansies.
I went to see River, and did my best to be positive about any doubts I might have about my abilities.
I am really trying to focus on MY communication with him. Am I being clear about what I want? Am I being crisp in my cues? Do I give him relief at the right time? Do I project confidence, looking up with shoulders up, and not hunched over or dropping my left shoulder like I often do? Do I make sure he walks with purpose beside me? Do I keep asking for an action until he gives it correctly, and not in a half-assed manner?
That is what I must work on.
I came home and let everyone out for a while, while I pulled grass from around my small plot of perennials.
Then I led Wonder around for a while, and worked with Dandy a bit. I haven't had much time to work with him yet this spring, but I got the surcingle on him okay, and worked on a tiny bit of ground work.
My Sweetie loves to ride his bike, and he tries to ride wherever he ends up working, over the summer. He got lucky with this location, as there is a really nice park with good biking trails that is very close to his work apartment. With the long days of summer, he can manage to fit in a good ride right after work and still get to bed in decent time.
I learned that Lady Gaga's meat dress has been preserved and is on display in Vegas. It is ten years old now.
