Jun. 10th, 2019 02:48 amMy sweet husband, who is supportive of me when I am upset, who understands what a priority my animals are to me, and is willing to do so much to care for them.
My riding friend, who continues to meet me to ride on Sundays. We do this because neither one of us wants to ride alone (not too safe if no one else is around), and for the company. She's been very consistent, and is good company.
A good ride on River.
For checking on our raku pieces, and they will be dry enough to fire, and thus ready for the outdoor raku firing event that my pottery group does every summer. Last year I didn't have anything ready, and it was disappointing to not be part of the grand experiment.
That we've had so much rain. Our water gauge shows just over an inch and a half, other people in the area had close to three inches. I'm hoping that this means lots of good hay for this winter.
My husband got to take a good nap when we got home from riding. He's been working so hard on the fence this last couple of weeks, I'm glad we could be lazy-ish today. There's a bit more to do, but it's not critical, as we have an intact perimeter.
I was able to pull grass out of my flower bed fairly easily, since we've had enough rain that the soil is soft and the roots came out nicely.
Watching another movie together. This one was awful (Wild Horses. It had terrible acting, terrible direction, and a stupid plot), but still nice to be with my sweetie.
