Wow, another month that flew by!

Today I am grateful for:

Gorgeous weather.

Sleeping without the contractors in the basement (they don't work Saturday or Sunday).

Not having anything particularly pressing to do today.

I tried to go to a new business that opened nearby, in the former fire hall. It is a brewery that makes authentic mead. They have an artist displaying her work, too. I got there, and apparently they close at 5 pm.

Oh well.

I was planning to go to the park down the road anyhow, so I just went straight there.

It was lovely. Roxy and I went for a long walk, not really worrying about time, and just enjoyed ourselves. The leaves were all golden, and whispering in the breeze, the geese are all honking and getting ready to fly soon, and everything smelled good.

I came home and dorked around on the computer, had a nap, and I will likely work on another horse blanket (keep in mind how late my days end).

Today I learned that a tablespoon of the sun's matter would weigh about five pounds. A neutron star is so dense that a tablespoon of it's matter would weigh more than Mount Everest.
