Today I am grateful for:

Though I still did not get a restorative sleep, I managed to haul myself out of bed and get things done.

I don't know why I'm not really falling into that deep rest, I do go to bed and kind of sleep, but it isn't doing the job.

The contractors left a little early today, they had home obligations.

Hopefully the main contractor can work with my husband for a while tomorrow. They are hoping to glue down the linoleum in the spare bedroom downstairs. Not sure what else they are doing right now.

My husband came home around 6 pm, and I did a bunch of stuff before he came home.

My main task for myself was to take down a section of temporary electric fence (just plastic poles with pegs that you string wire on to) that I used to limit Wonder's (one of the mares at home) access to pasture over the summer. I coiled up the wire to re-use, and pulled out the stakes as well.

I also took the heavier blanket off of Hollywood and left a lighter one on, and took the blanket off of Wonder. The weather isn't so bad now that it is not actively snowing and the wind has died down. My biggest concern was the horses being wet.

Then I put the winter tires in my little car, drove to the mechanic down the road, and left it there to have the winter tires put on. I drove my husband's car home, since it had been there getting some work done. Strategy!

Hopefully it doesn't take long to get my car back.

My Sweetie was able to pick up cat food on his way home, so that saves me one task.

We walked around the horse pasture with Roxy in the new snow.

We watched the newest "Ghost Busters", the one with the kids. It was okay, but felt very recycled, and most of the movie was just about nostalgia moments; "oh look, it's the old ambulance", "Oh look, it's the old protoplasm pack". They literally even just recycled the original plot of the first movie of a god getting ready to end the world. It was super un-original. Fun for the nostalgia, but you might as well just watch the original one. It felt fresh.

Today I learned that rainbows are actually full circles, and it just takes the right perspective to be able to see it completely. Pilots can sometimes see a full, circular rainbow.
