gottawonderA really beautiful, hot day (without being muggy or unpleasant).
Having a more relaxed approach to the day; a slow start, but still getting a lot done without feeling pressured.
Getting several loads of laundry done felt satisfying. I was able to use the clothesline.
Some friends of ours stopping in to pick up some building materials (my husband brought home a TON of waste-wood from his job site), and having a nice visit.
There are Purple Martins nesting in the house we put up. It's a lot of fun watching them.
Very grateful for getting more crap picked up from around the yard (rotten pallets and old fence stuff) and taken to the dump. I am always astounded at the amount of crap we end up taking to the dump, though to be fair, a lot of it is crap wood from renovations or pruning trees.
Chatting with a guy who turns out to be the caretaker of a small park we go to sometimes.
Really enjoying the long twilight, which cooled down nicely and was so lovely.
Watching "Kung Fu Hustle", with my sweetie. It is a gem of a movie.
