Jun. 20th, 2019 03:09 amThe county approved our permit to move the farm house onto our property, to replace our very old trailer. So, now the project begins to move forward. My husband already bought a giant sea can (that will be dropped off here next week), and we will move everything from our trailer into that for storage over the next couple of weeks (we can't move the house until the 21 day waiting period is over, where our neighbors have the opportunity to voice concerns). Next, we'll move the farm house to our property, and put it up on blocks. Then, we tear down the empty trailer (we'll be able to sort of live in the house), put in a basement, and then move the house onto the foundation over the basement. This is now going to be the focus of our summer.
We took our fat cat (being treated for lymphoma) and Jones (had urinary crystals) for quick check ups, and the vet said that Fatty's glands were no longer enlarged, and she felt that he was doing very well on these drugs. She felt that Jones was doing well too, but should remain on the urinary tract food.
I'm so glad that Fatty is doing well. I love all of our animals, and his diagnosis was such a shock. I want him to live to be a very old kitty by any standard.
For having the funds to treat our animals.
For more rain. I'm happy for all the plants, and the wetlands etc. that benefit.
For having a fairly relaxing evening at home, and watching a great movie about a young woman who trekked across the Australian desert with her camels and her dog (a true story). It's called "Tracks".
