More nice weather. Only about -1 to -3 C today.
Over the past few days I managed to get all the cards written inside, and addressed. Now I just need to make it to the post office. Some will likely be late, but I'm not going to stress about it. After all, I end up getting straggling cards all through January, and I kind of like it.
I talked with Sister E today, mostly about pleasant nonsense which was okay.
I went to see River today, and it was snowing by then. On the wet side. His blanket was wet, so I had to dig out his other one to let this one dry. After this warm spell it is supposed to get quite cold again, so we have to be prepared.
We did well with our groundwork/Liberty, and he stayed with me very well. No wondering about supper, even though they hadn't been fed their evening hay yet. I did ride him and we did well with that. I am trying to sit back more and use my seat bones better, and relax my legs a bit more, even bareback.
It was just R's student in the barn tonight, so I didn't have to stress, just observe common courtesy (like I always do anyhow).
I came home and had a nice nap, and had some nice Hans snuggles under the blankets. He doesn't stay for a very long time, but he was purring and snuggly under there for a while.
Apparently on Monday, a couple of people from the company that made our windows is coming to replace one of the screens, since it did not fit. I am kind of surprised that they are coming out (for no extra cost), but I guess for what we paid to have a whole house's worth of new windows, that's just good business.
Today I learned that the woman who played Aunt Bethany in "National Lampoon's Christmas" is none other than Mae Questal, who was the voice of Betty Boop, Minnie Mouse, and Olive Oyl.
