gottawonderA really nice sunny day today. Beautiful temperatures, no dust.
Our mushrooms are finally coming in quantities enough to eat some.
Finding two nice little ponies (their owner simply could not manage to care from them any more, no time, no help, so on and so forth). They haven't had a lot of handling, so haltering them was a bit of careful persuasion, and getting them into the trailer took time. I was careful not to be pushy with getting them in the trailer, as they would form bad associations with it, so we took our time, used some bribes, and got them loaded eventually. They're in with the goats (the previous owner said they had been housed with goats before), and there was no drama at all. They're going to need some farrier attention, deworming, shots, and the one needs gelding (not sure if the mare, his MOTHER, is pregnant, but the previous owner had them together for four years and no colts).
For my sweetie's ongoing support and help in my hopeless love of animals.
