A little warmer today. Enough that we took the goats back out to their pen and the heavy outer blankets off of the mares.
I will have to make sure the goats are warm enough after being coddled for almost a week.
We had something wrong with the extension cord powering the water heater for the ponies last night. My Sweetie straightened it out today.
There wasn't really anything for my husband to open for presents, as he kept insisting that he didn't want or need anything. Okay. Well.
We are planning to buy him a nice sweater before he goes back to work, and he wants that to be his Christmas present.
My Sweetie got me a scanner for the family pictures, since I wanted to scan them and put them on drives for siblings. That way they have the ability to go print some if they want physical copies.
He also gave me an assortment of useful items like good craft scissors and wool socks.
We went to see River today, and all of our ground work and Liberty went really well, but by the time I started riding, K was doing chores and River got very distracted because it was food time.
Well, I worked with him for a while to try and get his attention back, since I can't really let him think he is permitted to be done working when the chores are done.
It was at least fun for the ground work, since we played Beastie Boys.
We came home and made a nice supper of things not that different from what we normally eat, but it was nice. We made a point of putting on a table cloth and nice dishes and so on. We have two place settings of very nice flatware that we use for special occasions.
Then we watched "Ghostbusters", the one with the women. I really liked this cast, and was quite disappointed that they didn't get a second movie. I cannot figure out why it mattered so much to some people that it was all women. It was really fun in my opinion.
I learned that the name "Pakistan" is an acronym, bringing together elements from Punjab, Afghania, Kashmir, Sindh, and Baluchistan, all regions that came together to form one country.
