To still be here, ready for another year.
I look back on 2022, and we really did do a lot on our home and property again.
Today we got a few things done. We set up the new pump/filter for the turtle, and it is working very well. I changed the cat litter, and we took some of the litter (which is compostable sawdust) that has accumulated outside in pails out to the bush where we dump it.
We went to see River, and that was nice. He had already been eating for a while when we got there, so no panic about supper.
He did well with our ground work at Liberty, and ridden work as well. He was pretty focused today and stayed with me well.
We came home and watched some awful movie my husband picked out called "I have seen the Devil" (I think?) which was just pointless gore. I slept through most of it. I don't think he really liked it either. Oh well. They can't all be amazing.
Then we took down the Christmas tree and put it away.
We set up the photo scanner and tried a few pictures to learn the system, and it does a good job. So I guess I can begin this project.
Today I learned about the existence of a charming little marsupial called the Mountain Pygmy Possum.
