Today I am grateful for:

Weather that was a little above freezing today.

I got some pony manure picked up, since it was warm enough to loosen things a bit. I took quite a bit yesterday, and lots today. It does a lot to make Spring less disgusting if I can keep up with it.

I also did the dishes and changed the sheets, as well as fresh kitty litter.

My Sweetie got home in time to help with pony manure clean up.

Then we drove to the little town that is quite close to us (a village, really) and walked around with Roxy for a while. The sidewalks are easier to walk on than the deep, half-melted snow in the horse pasture. We did that for about 45 minutes, so a good bit of exercise.

Then we came home and watched an episode of House, that he felt was kind of silly, but that'll happen when you aren't invested in the character development.

Then he went to bed, and I worked on a necklace.

Today I learned that in Japan, there is a train that runs on biodiesel made from discarded ramen broth. Yup. There is enough broth being abandoned that it can fuel a train.

I'm the only one in the world who leaves noodles (unless they are soba or shirataki) but asks for extra broth. There goes the fuel surplus.

If it's a Vietnamese place, I ask for the rice or noodles on the side, because I prefer the soup without most of them. The (sous) chef gets the bonus.
