Today I am grateful for:

Though grey today, still okay temperatures.

I decided to go to town today, and I actually did have a plan for running some errands. When I got to town though, bot places were closed on Saturday. I am fairly sure this is a new thing, I'm sure I've gone to those stores before on Saturday.

Anyhow, I feel like it's a bit annoying to have to Google every place I want to go to double check that their hours haven't changed before I go to town, but lately it seems like every place we want to go has changed their hours.

So, going to town was kind of a waste, because I couldn't even get the mail. They decided to close access to the boxes on Saturday a while ago too.

I was able to go to the thrift shop for an hour before it closed. I can't imagine how badly I would have felt if that were closed too.

I found a few things. DVDs, a nice shirt, a cute skirt.

At least I got some kind of mental break from just sitting at home.

Then I went home, after feeling like I hadn't done much with my day.

I've been watching "House" still, and am still enjoying it. It's pretty outrageous, and you have to suspend your disbelief a lot, but it's interesting.

I worked some more on another riding neck rope, working on the same long knot to see if I could do it again, and I was able to. I need to actually FINISH a neck rope, and do all the little details!

Then I repaired a blanket of River's. The stitches I did a little while ago just popped free, I think it was the mono filament, no good in the cold.

We had a similar thing yesterday - we drove into town to get coffee at a place that advertises as open on Sundays, and it was closed. I even checked their homepage, they should have been open. I’m not sure what’s up there.

Stores seem to change their hours randomly here. The chocolate lab at the Distillery used to be open until 7... but it's changed to 6. Good thing I checked.
