gottawonderToday I am grateful for:
More gorgeous weather.
I didn't have to go anywhere, so I just had a quiet day at home.
I spent some time with the goats and ponies, and moved a considerable amount of manure from their enclosure to the compost pile.
I started up the old truck for a while to keep the battery alive.
I did some laundry, changed the sheets.
I talked with my Sister E finally, after more than a week of not being able to reach her. I know they are very busy right now with finishing up the last bit of stuff from her mother in law's apartment, and packing up their own home so they can move in June.
We had a reasonably good conversation, though as often seems to happen, there was little to no interest in how I am doing.
My Sweetie came home, and he was able to pick up special food for Jones on his way, as well as the replacement bulbs for my car lights (one burned out high beam) and the mail.
We watched "Restoration", a fairly old movie with Robert Downey Jr. that was a historical drama, I think it was mostly based on true events/people. It was okay. The sets and costumes were pretty amazing.
I learned about Ahimsa silk, produced without killing the silk worm larvae. It is meant to be a non-violent alternative to the normal process which kills the larvae.
