Jun. 30th, 2019 02:27 amSome sunshine, and some rain. Lots of rain lately, which is okay. I hope it doesn't interfere with hay cutting/baling.
As the date for the arrival of the farm house we bought approaches (this week, probably Wednesday), things are feeling more real, and we are committing to making this happen now.
A good trip into the city. We found a halter that fits the mare pony, made it to an art supply store to find an ink pen for me, got a heavy garden cart that will help us move stuff from one house to another, and boxes to storage (then it will be a garden cart after), some books/dvds, got moving boxes, and groceries. I even did a bit of clothes shopping.
That a chain Mexican food place that is pretty common around here is actually a very good food option for me. It offers vegetarian burritos that you can pick the ingredients, so I can get lots of beans for protein, and cooked veggies, now has quinoa (even better for you than rice), and it's a good value. Makes me very happy.
Having more good interactions with the ponies.
Watching the original "Italian Job" and really enjoying it. Yes, the computer stuff is dated, but at the same time it's pretty fascinating to see the old technology and cars etc. The car driving was really well done.
