gottawonderToday I am grateful for:
Beautiful weather.
Just sticking to the program as far as caring for Roxy. Careful trips outside for pooping, pills, washing her leg. Repeat as necessary.
I went to the barn to see River and have our lesson.
He seemed less sore today, but still noticeable if he trotted smaller circles.
We respected that, and did not work him too hard. Mostly walking.
We did more ground driving, which he is getting very good at. He is forgiving of my mistakes with the lines, and not at all worried about all the ropes.
Then we practiced the current pattern and broke that down some more.
Has a nice chat with K (R's husband). He really likes to talk about classic rock and old movies like the original Star Wars films. I think he is pretty nostalgic.
I came home and had a nice bath and a nap.
I learned that KongÅ Gumi is the world's oldest company that is still in existence (though now a subsidiary of Takamatsu Kensetsu). The company was founded in 578 CE (1,445 years ago) and mainly works on repairing/restoring shrines, temples, castles and cultural buildings throughout Japan.
