Beautiful weather. Very warm and sunny.
I got up in reasonable time (for me) to go to town.
I wanted to have a vet check Roxy's healed incision, as there was some swelling. The vet tells me it's just a build up of serum as the tissue underneath is still healing. I was concerned that it might be infection. Thankfully she didn't charge me, as lately we've spent a lot on vet bills.
I picked up cat litter at the Ag store, and petted the sweet old kitty there.
I paid H&R Block for doing our taxes, and signed my documents, and got them to get my Sweetie's e-documents. This all should have been done a while ago...well, you know how that goes.
I found a metaphysical store that I didn't know was here. It's a couple who runs it out of their house. I don't really buy into the "healing crystals" thing, but I do love nice stones and jewelry. They were having a big sale to celebrate their anniversary, and they had some beautiful cats.
Roxy and I went for a walk around the man-made lake in town, and it was a lovely day for that. The waterfowl are back, and it's nice to see them. Roxy enjoys all of the exotic smells left by other dogs.
I went to Winner's and found a winter scarf on clearance that is gorgeous.
I came home and had a nap.
I learned about Mormyridae, or fresh water elephant fish. They communicate with electrical fields to each other, as well as to find prey. They have very large cerebellums for fish, the ratio of size to size of their body is the same as some vertebrates. It is thought that they might be very intelligent.
