Today I am grateful for:

A chance to go and look at the farm house again, in it's current location. My husband needed to pay the owners and get a bill of sale, as well as secure a few things inside the house, get some paint, etc. It's so odd, to walk through this house, and imagine living there, and all the work we've been doing to bring it to our property, and the plans we're making to upgrade it. It's interesting to talk to the young man we bought it from; this house once belonged to his great grandfather, and he can remember spending time at this house as a child, full of his grandparent's belongings, and having Christmases there, and so on. He jokes about all the other paint colors he remembers. He and his wife would like to see it once it's settled on our property.

Finding a few treasures at the thrift store. A movie on DVD that I've been trying to find for months now; "Earth Girls are Easy" (a fluffy, hilarious, super '80's camp movie), as well as "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers".

Getting groceries, and discovering that a certain favorite kind of trail mix is a VERY GOOD price at this store (it looks like they are committed to this price), which is about $3 cheaper per bag than at the store I normally shop at. That is literally about 25% cheaper, and it's not on sale.

Getting the ponies out of their pen and we walked them around the property a bit, and put them in a corral where they could interact with the big horses safely and all get used to each other (their normal pen is separated from the horses, so they never see each other otherwise). Lots of squealing, especially since the one pony is still a stud. Funny to see the horses arch up their necks and put on big shows for the ponies.

Actually watching "Earth Girls are Easy" and thoroughly enjoying it.
