Today I am grateful for:

Last night the automatic waterer for the horses froze up, but it's working today. I'm not sure what happened, but I'll take it.

Getting to the barn to feed River and the other horse, and they seem to be doing okay. River is at least not losing weight in this awful cold snap. He's really bundled up. River's automatic waterer froze up, but the barn owner has a back-up water tank and heater already set up, so that's good.

Good socializing with another boarder at the barn. She recently bought a giant 18 hand Warmblood, and she's a little intimidated by him, but I have noticed him getting used to a few things like the barn.

For tasty Ginger Beer. A person from pottery recommended this one brand at the store, and it's so tasty. It has a ton of kick to it.
