Today I am grateful for:

A cooler but still sunny and pleasant day.

My Sweetie continuing to work on the siding. It's getting a little weird, in that there really isn't much left, but this last stuff seems to be taking a long time. I know that some of it is because he has been working near the roof line, and it gets fussy trying to match the angles.

It is all fine, as long as it gets done.

I went to see River, and it was pretty windy today.

He was a little worked up when I brought him to the barn, but he relaxed.

We did not have much for concrete goals, though I did work with him on a pattern that we might record for the ILHA later this month, if it looks good in a week or so. I'm not overly worried about it.

We ran through the yields and the Liberty circles, halting and so on. Review.

Then I rode him and worked on the spirals at the trot and canter, and he was still a bit sticky on the left lead, not as nice a bend, but okay.

Overall it was a good day.

I came home and my husband was finishing up for the night, so I helped him put tools away.

We went for a nice pasture walk with Roxy.

Then we watched more "Breaking Bad".

I learned about the incredibly restoration of the Statue of Liberty that took place from 1984 -1986 and cost and estimated 39 million dollars.
