Today I am grateful for:

Finally getting my timing right to have a phone conversation with Mom. Often when I call, they are either serving a meal or she's napping, so I'm glad I was able to talk with her today.

Getting the dishes done.

I went to town for pottery.

A few of my pieces were finished, and I was happy with them over all.

One other person was there, and it was nice to visit with her.

I threw tonight, working on the parts of teapots, that will need to be "leather hard" before I can assemble them.

Clean up was a bigger deal than usual, it always is when I throw. I also had a lot of extra mess today, since I was trying to recondition some recycled clay.

I'm grateful that I was feeling good overall, and could meet the challenge of all that clean up.

Then it was a rush to get some groceries before the store closed. I think I got most of what we needed, but man, it was getting close to closing time.

I'm grateful to be able to get groceries, to have the strength/energy to do so, and a car, and so on.

There was an accident of some kind on the highway on the way home, and I had to detour around it. It was a big semi and trailer, at least what I could see.

Sprite has been eating not too badly, and keeping it down. A little less interested in her food than usual, but not bad (?). I have an appointment for her tomorrow, but I'm not entirely sure if she's actually sick, or what is going on now.

I finally got home, and was grateful for that. You see a big accident like that, and just shudder.

My Sweetie had some food waiting for me, and he helped put groceries away. Then he had to go straight to bed.

I learned that Kate Winslet held her breath for seven minutes and twelve seconds in order to film a scene for the second Avatar film.
