I think many people think there is some place in the world that they kind of belong there, even if they've never even visited.

I have always felt that somehow, I have a connection with Australia. I have no idea why. I like the idea that it's warm there (though I have no interest in the blazing heat of the interior, though I am fascinated by the alien landscape), the beaches, the culture of the aboriginal people, I just feel a kinship.

I would be terrified of all the poisonous creatures, as Canada really doesn't have anything like that, and I don't know if I could deal with the heat.

I watch movies about Australia though, and it just calls to me.
