Today I am grateful for:

This place, and for the people who have committed to being here. It's very healing and affirming to be able to come here, and put down my thoughts, and for all of us to share our experiences in being human.

For sunshine.

For my sweetie, being a force to be reckoned with on this house project. His knowledge and his drive in getting up every day and tracking down materials or information has been the backbone of this adventure. I kind of feel like this is what he was born to do, and it's too bad he isn't doing this for a living (or that he can't make as much money as his current job).

For getting more moving done (it's too tough just to move all day, so we are doing a few hours of packing and moving each day). Today our big job was to take apart our gigantic roll top desk and move it across to the farm house, and assemble it, and put everything back in it. We also took down the big monitor from the wall, and the computer and took it to the farm house and re-connected it all. We had the tech from the internet provider come and put the recieving equipment on the roof of the farm house, and did the wiring so that we have internet again.

I also took more clothes and shoes to the farm house, and packed more books, and took them to the sea can. It is tough to believe how much stuff we have, until you see it all in boxes, stacked on shelves.

Going to see River, giving him a bit of extra feed (not sure now if he needs it), and taking some hay cubes to supplement what the barn owner is feeding him.

Getting a bit of mowing done. The yard is really overgrown right now, and it MUST get done!

Getting my laptop set up again, so I can use it in the trailer now that the main computer is set up in the farm house. We will likely be living there as soon as we want to move the bed over, though we need to buy a better refrigerator (we're not planning to move our current one over).
