Today I am grateful for:

Sunshine.

A very good riding lesson on River. He felt very light on the bit, and very willing today.

Seeing my riding friend, and watching her lesson. Her horse is moving well after the injections to his joints, much to everyone's relief.

All the jumps were put away, and the arena was freshly harrowed, so it was all nice and smooth and open.

Making it to the pottery meeting. We are going to be moving, because the current building our craft center is housed in has been deemed unsound. The city has a potential location for us to move to (it has a mandate to help relocate the non-profit groups that are currently housed in our building, which is owned by the city), though we don't know if we have it until after the town council can meet and vote. The space is a raw area, and will need renovations, and there might be a time where we won't have an operating studio while the work is being done. Our group will need to cover at least some of the expenses. We are allowed to keep using our current space until the end of October (but the inspectors want it shut down when snow begins to fall, because they fear that weight from snowfall will stress the roof). I am grateful that there is a potential space for us, that the city seems to care about our craft center group and is trying to help us relocate and reorganize.

For all the work the executives of our craft center have been doing to cooperate with the town council to come up with a workable plan.

I saw my pottery friend (who was also my riding friend at one time, and dog walking friend before that) at the meeting, and I extended an unambiguous invitation to come and visit (she doesn't know about the farm house, so I thought that would be a fun surprise).

My sweetie had a safe drive home to visit his family (he left this morning, and arrived at his parent's place this evening), and attend a wedding.

That my sweetie renewed the registration on our vehicles before he left, saving me a trip to the DMV.

I remembered to get toilet paper!!!

That we have the physical and financial resources to manage our daily commitments.
