Jun. 18th, 2024 01:13 amToday I am grateful for:
Decent weather.
Not being in a great hurry to get going anywhere.
I talked with Trainwreck, who apparently "fell out of bed" so hard that she thinks she may have damaged her pelvis. Her mattress is already sitting on the floor, barely off of it, and somehow she is "falling" out of it with great force. About two months ago she apparently fell out of it hard enough to crack a rib.
Granted, the decades of alcoholism have left her with fragile bones, and she bruises very easily. She could even just have very bad bruising, to the point where it FEELS like a fracture.
Well, I don't even know how to feel about any of that. You damage your body as hard as you can for most of your life, and maybe don't be surprised when it falls apart on you?
I went to town to do some pottery. I had the parts for a tea pot ready to assemble, and a lot of trimming to do.
I talked with another potter for a while, and that was pleasant. When I was working another person came in, and we also talked for quite a while, which was also pleasant.
I was able to get my trimming and assembly done.
Then I got groceries, and it was a bigger trip.
I was caught off guard by talking with my Sweetie and realizing that he is away this weekend for a bike trip with a friend, and I was uncertain if this weekend was all the stuff with this special trainer and the show, so I was really upset for a while because it was overwhelming, and I hate the feeling that I don't know what's going on, or when.
I did sort out the dates, and I feel better, but not before being very upset for a while.
