No pressing need to go anywhere, which is good because today was another scorcher.
I didn't do a lot today. Other than essential outdoor animal care (which only takes about 15 minutes and left me soaking wet with sweat) I spent the day indoors, and mostly read.
When it cooled off a bit towards the evening, I spent some time grooming Dandy's incredibly thick mane, and then I let everyone out into their pastures. While they were doing that I pulled weeds.
The garden has really gotten away on me, like it does every year. That is the down side of using so much horse manure, is you get a ton of weeds.
Then I worked with Wonder and Dandy for a while, and I'm really enjoying this. I can't ride Dandy (pony) or Wonder (maybe at some point? She's not mentally well suited for it) but Liberty gives me a way to interact with them and build a relationship.
My Sweetie is home from his travels. He has spent pretty much the entire last full day flying, had another six hour layover where he couldn't go anywhere or sleep, so just sat around an airport, and was exhausted.
He pretty much just went to bed, and we didn't talk much. He does have tomorrow at home, so that's good.
