Today I am grateful for:

Very nice weather. Warm and sunny, but not HOT like it was.

We went to the city together for a fun day. We haven't done that in weeks.

I got a few things at the animal supply store (they call themselves a pharmacy, it's all animal care stuff, and oddly, there is some human care stuff like vitamins and first aid stuff and diabetic socks. It's a bit weird, but it works).

Then we went to the art gallery, which we haven't done in a while. The main floor was our focus today, and it was from the art gallery's own personal collection. We've seen most of the paintings, but not for years. They have a really good permanent collection, and it's great to see them again.

I bought a lovely hand made glass pendant in the gift shop, and my husband bought some boutique hot sauce made locally.

Then we wandered around a "food fair" that was right next to the art gallery, but for me it was not going to work. Pretty much all of it was meat based, or had a ton of sugar, or what have you. My husband said he recognized most of the vendors as being established restaurants (those restaurants just set up a tent at the food fair) and that the prices of the food seemed inflated just for the event.

So, we went to a vegan place we both liked instead.

It turned out to be the perfect day to eat there out on the little deck, and the food was great as always.

My Sweetie kind of wanted to see a movie, but that was a spontaneous suggestion, and I felt like it would leave us in a rush to get to a theater on time, and then very late to get home.

So, I suggested we try the movie later, and focus on the things we already said we wanted to do,

We went for a long walk instead of stressing about a movie, and it was a much better choice. We had lots of time, and no pressing agenda, so we walked on the paths by the river and had fun listening to the music being performed on the river boat, and we walked across the river on a specific pedestrian bridge that we've never had the chance to use, and it's a beautiful bridge. Then we found a little path that took us down to the river's edge, and out onto the raw gravel edge, and it was interesting that there were all kinds of people and their dogs down there, all just enjoying the lovely evening. It almost felt like some kind of separate community.

Then we went to the bookstore. I brought a few items to trade in, we found some new to us options, and it was very nice.

We grabbed a bit of groceries (I stand firm on trying to go for a real trip Monday), and headed home.

We watched "Cocaine Bear", which was pretty much exactly how it sounds. Not for the faint of heart.
