gottawonderToday I am grateful for;
The cooler weather. It actually feels like autumn, but Shhhh.
We had a little cloudburst with more moisture.
Texting with family, and Trainwreck is resting in the hospital, and she now has a room. I hope she stays there, and doesn't check herself out.
I spoke with Sister E for a while, about other topics. Apparently there's a fair of some kind going on in her town, with equestrian driving classes and the RCMP musical ride.
I went to see River, we had our lesson today. It felt a bit all over the place. We worked on something I want to do for the "something fun you can do with your horse" mystery class, and we got...something.
It's not polished, just kind of a seed of an idea.
Then the pattern that I have been working on...well, we couldn't record it today because that's an outdoor pattern and the outdoor arena is too wet to use. We were indoors, so R just throws out a different pattern to try...one we tried a while ago and couldn't get, so WHY NOT JUST TRY IT COLD WITH NO PRACTICE. Yeah. Well.
It went not so great. We didn't get a worthwhile effort, so there you go.
Felt kind of a waste of a lesson, to be honest.
Then I came home and let everyone out, and tried to pick as many raspberries as I could.
I talked to my Sweetie, and he says a guy from the safety class who lives in the area (thus has a car) took him for a drive to show him some of the steel refineries and such. They're not right in Toronto, but an industrial area outside of it, that's where his hotel is and everything.
They were able to drive by Niagra Falls, and got a good look at it. My husband says he didn't want to get out and do the tourist thing because it was so crazy crowded today.
