Really beautiful weather. The perfect temperature where it's warm with that underlying coolness, and you don't sweat.
There's no real change with Trainwreck, she's still in the hospital, and at least that means she didn't sign herself out. I think she must be in very dire condition for her to choose to stay. Sister S lives in the city where that hospital is, and is visiting her.
My Sweetie says the safety training is going well, and the instructor is legally allowed to teach them 5 units a day, and since everyone taking the course has likely gone through this material 15 or more times over their career, it's going quickly.
He went for a "working supper" with people from the upcoming project.
I decided to go for a bike ride in the early evening at the park down the road, and it took me forever to find what I needed to go. I couldn't find my bike shorts, then I needed to find a pair of shoes, then my bike (in spite of taking it out not that long ago) was somehow BURIED in the garage. I could barely get to it. This merits a discussion with my husband when he gets home about how about maybe getting rid of more crap out of that garage if we can't even get to the things that are meaningful.
I managed to get it all together, and had a very nice ride. I went on the "outback" trails, which are just dirt trails, nothing too difficult. They are just not paved, level trails like the ones around the camp ground. Funny to think of how few people would come walk on these, just because they are not exactly like going for a walk on a walking path in the city.
Then I also biked around the camp grounds, since it was such a perfect evening. I spent some time sitting on a floating deck on a big pond (it's a nice place to sit and bird watch), and it was very nice. Lots of ducks, and one great big beaver.
I came home and let everyone out for a while, and valiantly picked more raspberries. Mmmm.
Then I worked with Wonder and Dandy for a while. Dandy is pretty cheeky, and likes to bugger off whenever my attention isn't perfect. Wonder, oddly enough, really tries to stay focused, but also doesn't "come up" to me the way Dandy does when he's paying attention. Funny.
