More of this gorgeous fall weather. Sunny and around 20 C.
I was able to do the dishes, change the cat litter, and sweep before I did outside chores.
My Sweetie went to the wood stove distributor and put a partial payment on the unit we settled on, and now the process is officially in motion.
He also went to the climbing gym.
I went to the riding barn, we had a lesson today.
They did put down the mare I was talking about, yesterday. R says it went calmly, and all of the horses had a chance to see that she had passed. I guess R is now okay with it, whereas before she was upset that this mare was being put down, as she felt that she could be made sound again. Well, I know there's a point where you have to let people make their choices or you just torture yourself.
It was weird knowing she was gone. It's like that every time we lose an animal. They just leave this space.
River started out not breathing well, and seemed to improve after a while. I wonder what's up with that.
I was a bit frustrated that AGAIN we are going back to more basic work on the liberty circles. It's like we just have to keep doing baby steps all the time, and I get really tired of it. Yes, it's obvious that it helps when he's not staying with me or whatever, but you get tired of being told all the time to go back to something more basic and work on that some more.
At least our ridden work felt like we were doing well.
I chatted a bit with the Mom of one of the other younger students.
I came home and my Sweetie got home pretty much the same time.
We ate, and now there is no time to even watch a show together, since he needs to be in bed earlier and earlier every time I turn around.
