gottawonderToday I am grateful for:
A little cool today, but nice. It did rain last night too.
I dug around in one of our sheds just to see what was still in there, and was there potential to move things from the garage to that shed for storage to help make room for a pottery area...
I found a bunch of clothes in a big tub that have been there the whole time we've been here, since it looks like they never got unpacked. I thought the only things in that tub were some stuffed animals.
It's just strange, I barely remember most of those clothes. A few things I remember. It made me a bit sad to see the jeans I used to fit into. Well, most of those clothes are just rags now, a few can be washed and donated, and out of all of it maybe one or two things can still be used.
It won't end up making space, because the tub still has stuffed animals in it, but I guess it's good that I found the clothes.
I went to see River, and we had a really nice session today. Both of us were relaxed but able to focus, and he was soft and responsive today, maybe because I was communicating better.
We worked on the away circles and the stationary circles at liberty, and on collection in our ridden work, and I really thought about my seat and legs, which seemed to help.
Then I stayed to work with Ferrari (I was a bit sad to think that last week I worked with the mare that was put down, it happened so fast). The girl with health challenges was not there for a lesson, but I worked with Ferrari anyhow, and R and her daughter were riding.
They did want to go for a ride around the property, and I went with them just leading Ferrari since I don't ride him. I need the exercise anyhow.
He's doing well, and you can see he's losing weight.
I came home and started supper, and was more or less done by the time my Sweetie got home.
He did the dishes, and then we cleaned up the carrots he pulled yesterday. It looks like we got about 20 pounds or so of nice carrots out of the garden. Not the biggest yield we've had, but okay considering what a weird year it was for rain.
Then we watched an episode of "1883".
