After a brief resurgence of resentments from yesterday, we talked some more and I hope we can understand each other better in the future.
I was able to work with Dandy and Wonder, finally. It's been several days since I've been able to do so, and I worry that Wonder gets very bored without some kind of stimulation and interaction with Dandy.
There was lots of "leaving" at first, then some relaxation and Wonder settled down and came with me nicely for a walk around the bigger pasture.
Then we both went to see River.
His energy is just so much better when it is cold. Sadly, most of our shows and online competitions and freestyles are in the summer, and he has such a hard time being forward then.
Tonight was great. He had nice energy, I kept everything light and fun while still ticking off the boxes for "asks" (like yields and making good Liberty circles). We did a fair bit of trotting at Liberty doing circles and changing directions and he kept a very nice, steady trot the whole time.
Our ridden work was good too, he was forward and relaxed, nice and loose.
I think my husband enjoyed the new playlist of funky music I made the other day.
We came home and my husband was feeling like doing a bunch of more involved cooking than usual (for us) and made himself a bunch of muffins to take for work lunches, and I roasted some veggies while we had the oven heated up.
We watched "Shakespeare in Love" which is SUCH a great movie.
