gottawonderToday I am grateful for:
The warmer weather today. It went from about -15 C yesterday to about -1 C today.
I took Wonder's blankets off, since she doesn't need them at this temperature, and I had put blankets on the ponies again for one day to melt the icicles off of them, so those came off last night.
I didn't get a LOT of sleep last night, but enough.
I was able to give Wonder and Dandy some time together before I went to pottery.
By the time I got to pottery, I was the only one working, everyone else had gone home already, but I'm okay with that.
I didn't get a LOT done, since I got there at 4 pm and I had to start cleaning up by 5:30, but I threw one potential mug and made a couple of possible handles for it, to be joined when they firm up a bit.
I tried for another one but no luck.
I ended up talking to two people separately as they came/left about the meeting, how well it went, and they seem enthusiastic (they weren't at the meeting). I made a positive but fairly strong encouragement for them to consider being on one of the committees. We need people to DO something, or none of our ideas will get off the ground.
I went to Winner's afterwards, just to enjoy some time by myself doing something entirely recreational. I did find a really nice sweater but decided not to get it because in all honesty, I have a ton of sweaters right now.
There was also kind of a fun jumpsuit thingy that I liked, but I didn't know if I would ever wear it.
I did find some "adventure pants", nice fleece lined pants that would be great for walking outdoors, and nicer than the ones I use for doing chores so if we say, go snowshoeing with friends or something these will be great.
I picked up some glue sticks at Superstore, since we forgot to get those the other day. I need them for the Christmas cards I'm making.
Then I came home and we chatted for a while before my Sweetie needed to go to sleep.
