It's a bit colder today, and there was some precipitation. I'm glad that we got snow and not freezing rain.
I did regular chores, and brought more wood up to the house. We likely won't use the wood stove tonight as it isn't that cold, but I had time and energy to get the wood, so it's there when we want to use it.
I worked with Dandy and Wonder in the big pasture. It was exhausting to walk in the fairly deep snow.
Dandy did very well, and stayed with me all the way around the pasture. Wonder, not so much. She was far more concerned about her hay.
Still, I got exercise and so did they.
Then I went to the barn for my lesson. The roads weren't horrible, but I was cautious, drove fairly slowly, and it was fine.
We had a good lesson. River was very connected to me, and had decent energy. Not a ton of new homework, more like refining things from last week, tweaking some basic things to get them better. He was looser with our canter today, which is good.
I came home, and when my Sweetie got home we ate, chatted, and watched some "Scooby Doo".
